Movie Summary
“The Hot Spot” (1990) is a neo-noir crime thriller, directed by Dennis Hopper, and based on the 1953 novel Hell Hath No Fury by Charles Williams.
The film follows Harry Madox (Don Johnson), a charming but amoral drifter who rolls into a sweltering, desolate small town in Texas. He quickly lands a job as a used car salesman, but his true aim is to rob the local bank.
