Recent reports have sparked speculation about an engagement between Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj. However, Priya Saroj’s father, Tufani Saroj, has clarified that these reports are inaccurate. He stated that while discussions between the families are ongoing, no formal engagement has taken place.

Tufani Saroj mentioned that Rinku Singh’s family has been in talks with his elder son-in-law regarding a marriage proposal. He emphasized that although conversations are progressing, the news of an engagement is “completely wrong.”
Priya Saroj, 26, became one of the youngest Members of Parliament in India after winning the Machhlishahr constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. She completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi, graduated from Delhi University, and holds an LLB from Amity University, Noida.
Rinku Singh, known for his impressive performances with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, has been making significant strides in his cricketing career. He is set to represent India in the upcoming five-match T20I series against England, starting on January 22, 2025.
