Slash’s stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight has passed away at a private residence in Los Angeles. The news has been shared by Slash on instagram.
Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash confirmed on Sunday the passing of Lucy-Bleu Knight, the daughter of his girlfriend Meegan Hodges, at the age of 25.
Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, shared the news on Instagram, revealing that Knight had passed away the previous week. Meegan Hodges, Knight’s mother, also posted the same statement on her account, urging people to avoid speculating about her daughter’s death.

The statement read, “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.”
It continued, “Lucy-Bleu was a talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”
Knight’s death occurred at a private residence in Los Angeles, as noted by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office. The cause of death has not been determined yet, pending an examination.
Shortly after the family announced her passing, a cryptic post appeared on Knight’s Instagram account, suggesting it may have been scheduled prior to her death. This led to various speculations in the comments section.
The post stated, “Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity – I am sorry. Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart, and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace.”

Slash, 58, is the father of 21-year-old London and 20-year-old Cash, whom he shares with ex-wife Perla Ferrar. Slash and Hodges, who dated in the late 1980s, rekindled their relationship after his 2014 divorce filing. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.
London Hudson, who is also a musician, shared the family’s statement on Monday, along with an illustration of Knight with angel wings, on his Instagram story, writing, “Rest In Paradise Lucy.”
