The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), also known as the Sikkim Revolutionary Front, is a leading political party in the Indian state of Sikkim, in power since 2019.
PS Golay, initially a member of the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) and a state minister, became a strong critic of Pawan Kumar Chamling, the SDF President and long-serving Chief Minister of Sikkim, starting in December 2009. On February 4, 2013, Golay established the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha.

Under Golay’s leadership, the SKM won a significant victory in the 2019 elections, ending Chamling’s 25-year rule. Golay assumed the position of Chief Minister on May 28, 2019.
In the Sikkim Legislative Assembly elections on April 12, 2014, the SKM contested all 32 seats, winning 10 and becoming the second-largest party and the main opposition in the assembly.
In 2017, SKM appointed Kunga Nima Lepcha as Acting President, with MP Subba and Navin Karki as Working Presidents. Arun Upreti was named Secretary General.

After winning 17 seats in the 2019 Sikkim Legislative Assembly elections, they joined the National Democratic Alliance on May 26, 2019, under BJP leadership.
The 2019 elections saw SKM, led by Prem Singh Tamang, secure 17 seats, compared to the SDF’s 15 seats. Exit polls for the upcoming 2024 elections indicate a significant increase in SKM’s projected seat share, suggesting strong support for the party.

In the 2024 Sikkim Assembly elections, prominent candidates include Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, his wife Krishna Kumari Rai, former Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling, and former Indian footballer Bhaichung Bhutia, among the 146 contestants.
Vote counting for the 2024 election began at 6 am, with SKM seeking another term and SDF aiming for a comeback. Candidates from BJP, Congress, and Citizen Action Party-Sikkim (CAP-S) are also competing. The Election Commission has implemented strict security measures to ensure a smooth counting process.
