Actor Pradeep K Vijayan Passes Away
Pradeep Vijayan, known for his roles as a villain and comedian in various films such as “Thegidi” and “Hey! Sinamika,” was discovered dead at his home on Wednesday. A concerned friend, who had not heard from him for two days, went to check on him and found him deceased. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of death and have not yet issued an official statement.

Pradeep lived alone in Sankarapuram First Street, Palavakkam, Chennai, and had recently experienced symptoms of shortness of breath and dizziness. His friend, worried after multiple unanswered calls, decided to visit Pradeep’s residence. Upon finding the door locked and receiving no response to repeated knocks, the friend alerted the police.
The Neelankarai police, accompanied by the fire department, forced entry into the home and found Pradeep with a head injury. His body was taken to Royapettah Government Hospital for further examination. Initial reports suggest that Pradeep might have died two days prior due to a combination of a head injury and a heart attack. However, a postmortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Following the tragic news, many took to social media to express their condolences. Singer and actor Soundarya Bala Nandakumar shared on X (formerly Twitter), “This news is a shock. I was very fond of him as a brother. Although we didn’t speak every day, our occasional conversations were always filled with affection. You will be terribly missed, Pradeep K Vijayan anna. May your soul rest in peace.”
