In a remarkable debut, 18-year-old batting sensation Angkrish Raghuvanshi made a significant impact in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Kolkata, scoring a blazing fifty against Delhi at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vizag. His explosive 27-ball 54 helped Kolkata secure a commanding victory, posting the second-highest total in IPL history and defeating Delhi by a massive 106-run margin.

Together, they dismantled the Delhi Capitals’ bowling attack, propelling Kolkata to a formidable total of 272 for 7. Subsequently, Delhi was dismissed for 166, sealing Kolkata’s victory.

Raghuvanshi’s achievement as the youngest KKR player to score a fifty in the IPL, surpassing Shubman Gill’s record, highlights his promising talent. Notably, he reached his maiden IPL fifty in just 25 balls, trailing only James Hopes for the fastest fifty on debut in IPL history.

Furthermore, his debut performance ranks as the fourth-highest individual score by a KKR player in their first IPL appearance, underscoring his immediate impact.
