The president Joe Biden’s doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, reported that Biden was tested after showing upper respiratory symptoms.
President Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19 while in Las Vegas for a series of events, the White House announced on Wednesday.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre revealed that Biden tested positive after his first event in Las Vegas. “He is vaccinated, boosted, and experiencing mild symptoms,” Jean-Pierre stated. “He will be returning to Delaware to self-isolate, but will continue to perform all of his duties fully. Biden does not have a fever, and his respiratory rate is normal, according to Dr. O’Connor.
Upon arriving at the Las Vegas-area airport, Biden responded to questions about his health, saying, “Good, I feel good.”
On his way to Delaware, Biden tweeted, “I’m sick,” followed by another tweet criticizing Elon Musk and his wealthy allies, urging donations to his re-election campaign. Musk had recently endorsed former President Donald Trump following an assassination attempt.
