Kai is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump. She mentioned that her father had spoken at the RNC on Monday.
“The media often portrays my grandpa differently,” Kai remarked. “But I know him as a caring and loving person who truly wants the best for this country. He is committed to making America great again and fights for it every day.”
Kai shared anecdotes about her grandfather’s interest in his grandchildren’s lives, recounting how he celebrated her making the honor roll by printing it out to show his friends.
“He calls me during school to ask about my golf game and shares updates on his own,” Kai said. “But I often have to remind him that I’m in class and will call him back later.”
She also spoke about their competitive spirit on the golf course. “If we’re not on the same team, he tries to get into my head,” Kai laughed. “But I have to remind him, I’m a Trump, too.”

An avid golfer like her grandfather, Kai frequently shares her golf experiences on Instagram.
Kai also touched on more serious matters, referring to the legal challenges her grandfather faces. “Despite all the court cases, he always asks how I’m doing,” she noted.
She expressed her shock and concern upon hearing the news of her grandfather being shot at a rally in Pennsylvania. Although Trump’s injury was minor, requiring only a bandage over his right ear, the incident was deeply unsettling for Kai Trump.
“On Saturday, I was shocked to hear he had been shot,” Kai said. “All I wanted to know was if he was okay. It’s heartbreaking that someone would do that. My grandpa has been through so much, yet he remains resilient.”
