Tihar jail authorities have given the green light for Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Arvind Kejriwal, to pay him a visit today, as per confirmation from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on April 29.
Adding to the significance of the visit, Sunita will be accompanied by Delhi cabinet minister Atishi for the meeting scheduled at 12:30 pm, providing a platform for discussion and support during a challenging time.
Initially, there was a communication hiccup, with Arvind Kejriwal’s party asserting a denial of visitation rights, a claim swiftly refuted by jail officials, highlighting the importance of accurate information dissemination in such situations.
Moreover, the upcoming meeting between Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on April 30 underscores the political interest and solidarity surrounding Kejriwal’s incarceration.
Following the confirmation, Sunita Kejriwal and Atishi were observed heading towards Tihar Jail, signifying the commencement of a significant encounter.
In a recent development, Sunita Kejriwal‘s public support for her husband took center stage during a roadshow in West Delhi on April 28. Here, she passionately articulated her admiration for Arvind Kejriwal’s governance, praising his transformative initiatives such as free electricity, enhanced educational facilities, and accessible healthcare services through the Mohalla Clinics program.
