Despite claiming to have acted solely as a brand promoter under an Influencer Engagement Agreement, the court ruled against him.
Justice SV Kotwal, presiding over the case, highlighted the illegal nature of the operation, citing the use of fictitious bank accounts and fake SIM cards on a large scale. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) investigation uncovered a network of 67 betting websites, with operations originating from foreign locations.
