Emilie is a young entrepreneur whose family business, which she runs with her boyfriend Andreas, is heavily indebted. She proposes selling the holiday house they jointly inherited in the remote Swiss Alps to get the money she needs. Jakob, a professional skateboarder, is less focused on the financial urgency.
While staying in the vast, secluded alpine landscape, the emotional distance Emilie has consciously maintained from her brother over the years begins to break down. She has been successfully repressing a secret and deep affection for Jakob that transcends typical sibling love.
As Jakob pushes for a decision about their future and a relationship that must remain hidden, Emilie is forced to confront the conflict between her seemingly rational life with her boyfriend Andreas and the intense, forbidden feelings she harbors for her brother.
