The Los Angeles jury found A$AP Rocky not guilty of firing a semi-automatic handgun during an altercation in Hollywood.

On February 18, 2025, rapper A$AP Rocky was acquitted of felony assault charges related to a 2021 incident involving his former friend, Terell Ephron, also known as A$AP Relli.

The defense argued that Rocky had used a prop gun that fired blanks for security purposes, while the prosecution contended that the weapon was real and posed a genuine threat. Ultimately, the jury concluded that the evidence did not support the charges, leading to Rocky’s acquittal.
Throughout the proceedings, Rihanna attended multiple sessions, often accompanied by the couple’s two young sons. Her presence underscored the family’s unity during the challenging period.
With the not guilty verdict, A$AP Rocky avoids a potential 24-year prison sentence and is free to continue his personal and professional endeavors.
