In the track “Gimme a Hug,” Drake refers to the feud, stating, “F— a rap beef, I’m tryna get the party lit,” indicating a desire to move beyond the conflict.
This release comes shortly after Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime performance on February 9, 2025, where Lamar performed his diss track “Not Like Us,” which includes allegations against Drake.
The feud between the two artists has been ongoing, with both releasing multiple diss tracks over the past year. Drake’s latest lyrics suggest he may be ready to move past the rivalry.
