Detectives used hotel CCTV footage, license plate readers, and phone records to identify the suspects.
Three individuals have been arrested and two more are being sought in connection with the ambush killing of Florida rapper Julio Foolio last month, authorities announced.
Charles Jones, the 26-year-old rapper known as Julio Foolio, was fatally shot on June 23 when his vehicle was riddled with bullets in a hotel parking lot in Tampa.

Hotel surveillance footage released by police shows the assailants dressed in black and wearing masks as they positioned themselves in the parking lot, opening fire with two semi-automatic rifles and a pistol.
The attack occurred during a weekend of birthday events that Jones had advertised on social media.
The arrested suspects, Isaiah Chance, 21, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Sean Gathright, 18, are facing murder charges, according to police.
Two additional suspects, Davion Murphy, 27, and Rashad Murphy, 30, also face similar charges but remain at large.
Three other individuals were injured in the attack but survived, Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw stated at a Monday press conference.

The attackers were allegedly members of two different gangs, ATK and Twelve Hundred, who collaborated to carry out the ambush.
Jones was identified as a member of the Six Block Gang, Chief Bercaw said.
In the hours leading up to his death, Jones had been posting about his birthday celebrations on Instagram, mentioning that police had intervened in their activities.
Julio Foolio had nearly a million monthly listeners on Spotify, with “Voo Doo” being his most popular track.

In April, he posted on Instagram about a series of “tragic” events, including “multiple attempts on my life.”
Local media reported that Jones was open about his gang affiliations.
