Keke Jabbar, known for her role in “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” has passed away at the age of 42.

Her cousin, LaTisha Moore Scott, who also stars on the OWN reality show, shared the heartbreaking news on social media.

“We request RESPECT and PRIVACY as we navigate through this immense loss,” Scott wrote on Instagram. “This is an incredibly difficult time for our family.”

Keke Jabbar Dies at 42

The news of Jabbar’s death was first reported by YouTube vlogger Marcella Speaks, who conveyed a statement from the family noting that Jabbar passed away “peacefully at home, surrounded by love.”

“She was a mother, a sister, a cherished friend, brimming with life, love, and laughter. Her absence will be deeply felt,” Speaks relayed.

Jabbar and Scott’s tumultuous relationship was a notable storyline on the reality series, marked by frequent conflicts captured on camera.

In one memorable scene from a recent season, a confrontation between the two escalated to the point where Jabbar threw a drink at Scott’s face.

Earlier this year, Jabbar was accused of using hard drugs and using someone else’s urine to pass a drug test.

“I have never used any hard drugs,” Jabbar firmly stated during the Love & Marriage: Huntsville Reunion when questioned by the show’s producer, Carlos King. “I’ve never touched heroin, cocaine, crack…nothing like that.”

King further inquired if Keke Jabbar had remained sober during filming, to which she confirmed she had.

“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” centers on three influential African-American couples who, as long-time friends, come together to revitalize Huntsville, Alabama, through their collective real estate endeavors, known as The Comeback Group.
