John Schneider, 64 and Dee Dee Sorvino, 57, tied the knot in Las Vegas. The couple will have an official wedding celebration on August 1.
John Schneider, known for his role in “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and TV personality Dee Dee Sorvino have found love again after losing their respective spouses.
Schneider, 64, shared on Wednesday that he and Sorvino, 57, “tied the knot last night in Las Vegas.”

“To those who’ve been supporting me over the last year and a half, you know I never imagined happiness was possible again. I’m here to say, you’re stronger than you realize!” the actor and country singer posted on Facebook.
He continued, “And those we’ve lost are definitely watching over us, giving us gentle nudges… and sometimes a push to do what’s right!”
Schneider added, “I never thought I’d laugh again… but now I laugh all the time! I absolutely adore that amazing woman at the end of the bar! Thank you, DeeDee!”
A representative for Schneider told USA TODAY that the couple will have an official wedding celebration on August 1.
In his post, the “Smallville” actor also honored their late spouses.
“Thanks, Paul! Thanks, Alicia!” Schneider wrote.

Schneider’s third wife, Alicia Allain Schneider, passed away in February 2023 at the age of 53 after battling breast cancer. In 2022, Paul Sorvino, known for “Goodfellas” and “Law & Order,” died at 83 after health complications. He and Dee Dee Sorvino (née Benkie) had been married since 2014.
“Our hearts are broken; there will never be another Paul Sorvino. He was the love of my life and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage,” Dee Dee Sorvino said at the time.
On February 22, 2023, Schneider announced Allain’s passing on social media, writing, “My beautiful Smile is pain-free, living in her new body alongside Jesus.”
“Hug your loved ones tight and let them know how you feel. We always did,” he added.
In November, Schneider hinted at a potential “The Dukes of Hazzard” reboot in an interview with Fox News Digital.

“I can’t explain it, but we’ve been closer than Bo, Luke, and Daisy since the day we met,” Schneider said. “Through the best, worst, and most challenging times, Tom (Wopat) and Catherine (Bach) have always been there. Over forty years later, we couldn’t be better friends.”
“As for a ‘Dukes’ reunion, anything is possible,” Bach added.
