‘GOAT’ movie director Venkat Prabhu celebrates Thalapathy Vijay’s 50th birthday by sharing a teaser clip from the film on Twitter, showcasing Vijay in a double role as both father and son.
Today June 22, 2024 marks the 50th birthday of Thalapathy Vijay, a milestone celebration for the renowned actor. He is set to star in the eagerly anticipated Tamil film “Goat: The Greatest of All Time,” which is currently in the final stages of post-production. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film has generated significant excitement among fans.

To commemorate Vijay’s special day, director Venkat Prabhu shared a teaser clip from the film on Twitter, showcasing Vijay in a double role as both father and son. The clip features both characters engaging in a high-octane bike chase, which has quickly captured widespread attention.
In his tweet, Prabhu wrote, “Happy birthday to THE GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay. I love you, na. See you tomorrow!”
Producer Archana Kalpathi recently confirmed via Instagram that post-production work is progressing rapidly. The film’s satellite rights have been secured by a national television partner, selling for an impressive Rs 93 crore.
“GOAT” will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, with dubbed versions available in Malayalam and Kannada.

Highlighting the film’s ambitious scope, Kalpathi mentioned that the VFX work has commenced in collaboration with the team behind the visual effects of “Avatar.” This partnership underscores the high-budget, fantasy elements of the film, promising a groundbreaking visual experience.
In addition to Thalapathy Vijay’s dual roles, the ensemble cast features Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Mohan, Laila, and Jayaram.
The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen. “GOAT” is slated for a theatrical release on September 5.
