In 2011, they appeared together in the movie “Miley Naa Miley Hum.” Though the film didn’t succeed, Chirag Paswan, then in the shadow of his father, the late Ram Vilas Paswan, transitioned into politics. Kangana Ranaut, meanwhile, continued to flourish in her film career.
After many films and elections, the duo are now colleagues in Parliament. Chirag Paswan has emerged from his father’s legacy, establishing himself in politics, while Kangana Ranaut has ventured into a new political journey.
Currently, Chirag Paswan leads the LJP (Ram Vilas), a significant BJP ally that achieved a remarkable victory by winning all five contested seats in the recent election. He is now the cabinet minister for food processing industries, a role previously held by his father. Representing Bihar, Paswan is a two-time MP, now serving the Hajipur constituency.
Kangana Ranaut, a first-time MP, was elected from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. She triumphed over state minister Vikramaditya Singh with a substantial margin of nearly 75,000 votes.
