Goldy Brar was outside his residence with a companion when unidentified attackers arrived, opened fire, and swiftly fled the scene.
According to reports, gangster Goldy Brar, a key suspect in the murder case involving Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been fatally shot in the United States.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening at approximately 5:25 PM local time in Fairmont and Holt Avenue, as stated by an American news channel.
Goldy Brar was outside his residence with a companion when unidentified attackers arrived, opened fire, and swiftly fled the scene. Two individuals were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, one succumbed to their injuries.
The rivals of Goldy Brar, namely gangsters Arsh Dalla and Lakbhir, have claimed responsibility for the attack, citing longstanding animosity as the motive. However, there has been no response from Lawrence Bishnoi or any other gangster regarding these allegations.
Who was Goldy Brar?
Goldy Brar, also known as Satwinderjit Singh, was born in 1994 in Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, hailing from a family with a police background. Despite familial expectations for him to pursue education, Goldy opted for a different path. He was a BA graduate who resided in Canada and operated mainly from there, particularly in Punjab.
Last year, Goldy Brar‘s cousin Gurlal Brar was murdered outside a nightclub in Chandigarh. Gurlal, closely associated with Bishnoi, allegedly fell victim to Bishnoi’s gang in retaliation for the killing of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pahalwan. Following these incidents, Goldy reportedly fled to Canada in 2021 after initially moving there on a student visa in 2017.
