Security measures have been heightened outside Salman Khan’s residence following the shooting, with CCTV footage capturing the assailants speeding towards the location.
Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired four shots outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Mumbai’s Bandra area early on Sunday morning. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported.
The incident took place around 4:51 am, with the assailants firing outside Galaxy Apartments before quickly fleeing the scene. Despite Salman Khan being present at his home during the incident, he remained unharmed.

Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack in a social media post from his residence in the US.

Authorities, including the crime branch, local police, and forensic teams, conducted investigations at the scene, recovering bullet casings. The Deputy Commissioner Of Police (DCP) and other officials briefed the investigation team at the DCP office in Mumbai.
The Bandra Police have registered a case against an unknown perpetrator in connection with the shooting incident.
Mumbai Police DCP Raj Tilak Roushan stated that more than 15 teams have been mobilized to apprehend the suspects.

The incident is believed to be linked to past threats from gangs associated with Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar, who have previously expressed intentions to harm Salman Khan.
In response to the threats, Salman Khan has been provided with weapons by trained security personnel and has been granted an arms license for personal protection.
The Mumbai Police have remained vigilant since Salman Khan received a death threat via email from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang in March of the previous year.
Additionally, in November of the previous year, a security review was conducted for Salman Khan after an indirect threat was made against him on Facebook by an account claiming to be affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi.
Lawrence Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in connection with a drug smuggling case investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Goldie Brar had previously identified Salman Khan as a target for his gang and Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, indicating their intent to harm the actor if given the opportunity.
