Bade Miyan Chote Miyan marks the first collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff on the big screen, with both actors commanding significant portions of the film’s budget.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar’s latest venture, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” boasts an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and south film superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran.
This action-packed film with a comic twist pays homage to its 1998 predecessor directed by David Dhawan, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, while forging its own path.

In this rendition, Prithviraj Sukumaran brings a weighty presence to the role of the antagonist, Mr. X, adding depth to the intense action sequences led by Akshay Kumar’s Firoz ‘Freddy’ and Tiger Shroff’s Rakesh aka Rocky. Each character is meticulously crafted, with even the physicality of Kumar and Shroff serving a narrative purpose. Ronit Roy shines in a pivotal role as Col Adil Shekhar Azad, embodying the archetype of the armyman.
The female characters, portrayed by Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F, contribute significantly to the plot, while Sonakshi Sinha makes a special appearance as Priya. Filmed across various international locations, including London, Scotland, Abu Dhabi, and Mumbai, the movie promises explosive action sequences and captivating dance performances.
Despite comparisons to Hollywood blockbusters like Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” stands on its own merits, supported by director Ali Abbas Zafar’s track record of delivering successful action films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat.
