Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur are set to grace your screens with their romantic family drama, “The Family Star,” gearing up for its OTT release. However, they’ll face tough competition from the Tollywood romantic crime-comedy “Tillu Square,” both streaming on the same date.

“The Family Star” delves into the lives of a middle-class family, focusing on Vijay’s character, Govardhan, as he navigates trust issues, ego, and dilemmas in his relationships while striving for greatness. Directed by Parasuram, the film also stars Rohini, Jagapathi Babu, Vasuki, and Abhinaya.
Vijay shared his rewarding experience playing Govardhan, expressing how the character’s journey reflects the struggles and triumphs of the middle class. The Telugu love story will be available on Prime Video.
Tillu Square
Meanwhile, “Tillu Square,” starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parmeswaran, continues the romantic crime-comedy saga with DJ Tillu’s quest for love amidst a mysterious murder. Directed by Mallik Ram, the film also features Muralidhar Goud, Murali Sharma, and Neha Shetty.
Siddhu expressed gratitude to Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi for his encouragement, as the sequel to “DJ Tillu” hits Netflix on April 22.
