World Photography Day 2024:- History
First time, this day came into existence in the year 1837 when first-ever photographic process ‘Daguerreotype’ was developed by the French men Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce. After two years in 1839, the French Academy of Sciences acknowledged this day. French government purchased the patent of this invention and gave it as a gift ‘free to the World.’ However, the coloured photography came in the year 1861.
