Earlier, the name of the film was Satyanarayan Ki Katha but later the name was changed to Satyaprem Ki Katha due to controversy. This is a romantic comedy-drama film.
The movie revolves around the love story of Satyaprem (Kartik Aaryan) and Katha (Kiara Advani). In the movie, Satyaprem comes from a humble background and he loves the daughter of a wealthy family named Katha but the Katha’s family is against their relationship. So, Satyaprem and Katha decide to run away. They face adversities in life independently. Despite numerous hardships, their love remains unwavering.
