Rapper PnB Rock fatally shot on monday afternoon during robbery at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles. As per Los Angeles Times, his girlfriend was with him during this incident.
Los Angeles Police Captain Kelly Muniz said that shooting took place at 1:15 pm. Rock was taken to hospital and pronounced dead at 1:59 pm.
“A suspect shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” Muniz said.
The real name of Rapper Rock, 30, was Rakim Allen. Philadelphia based rapper was best known for his 2016 hit “Selfish”.
As per reports, Rock’s girlfriend, who was with him at the restaurant, posted a location-tagged photo in a since-deleted instagram post.
Rapper PnB Rock was born on December 9, 1991 in Philadelphia. He gained national prominence with the 2015 single “Fleek”.
Rock’s 2016 hit “Selfish” peaked at No.51 on the Billboard Hot 100. Victorious anthem “Everyday We Lit” peaked at No.33 on the Billboard Hot 100.
His latest song “Luv Me Again” was released on September 2.
