The Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova announces the birth of son Theodre with her fiance Alexander Gilkes. Maria Sharapova is the former no.1 tennis player. She announced her engagement with British Businessman Alexander Gilkes, 42, in december 2020.
Sharapova took to instagram and shared photo with her fiance and son. “Theodore VII•I•MMXXII The most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift our little family could ask for,” she captioned the post and announced her son’s birth date in roman numerals i.e., July 1.
Maria Sharapova is the winner of all the four major titles
The 35 year old Maria Sharapova had revealed in April that she was pregnant. She is the one who has won all the major titles during her career. She is among only 10 women to complete the career Grand Slam by capturing all four majors singles crown atleast once.
In 2004, she won her first major title Wimbledon just at the age of 17. In 2006, she won the US Open, followed by Australian Open in 2008 and French Open in 2012 and 2013.
She also won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics, losing to American Serena Williams in final.
