The founder and first Chairman of IPL Lalit Modi announces that he is dating actress Sushmita Sen. By calling her better half, he also clarified that they are just dating, not married.
“Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon,” Lalit Modi tweeted.
After this tweet, he did one more tweet in which he clarified that they are just dating, not married. “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too it will happen one day,” Businessman Modi wrote.

Who is Lalit Modi?
Lalit Modi, 58, is the president and managing director of Modi Enterprises and the executive director of Goodfrey Phillips India. He married to Minal Modi, who passed away four years ago after battling cancer. They had tied the knot in 1991.
Modi was the vice-president of the BCCI during 2005-2010. He was the organiser of IPL league until 2010 but afterwards due to allegations of misconduct and money laundering, he was suspended by BCCI for life. Shortly before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) started investigation against him for alleged money laundering, he moved to London.
The 46-year-old former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, on the other hand, announced her breakup with model-actor Rohman Shawl in december last year. She is a single parent of her two daughters Renee and Alisah.
Sushmita Sen won the Miss Universe pageant in 1994 and made her Bollywood debut in 1996. She was last seen in the second season of web show ‘Aarya’.
