Kannada actor and comedian Mohan Juneja dies on saturday May 7 after battling a prolonged illness as per reports. He dies at a private hospital in Bengaluru at the age of 54. Reportedly he had been suffering from an illness and failed to respond to the treatment.
He was last seen in the blockbuster movie KGF: Chapter 2 and was also seen in the prequel four years ago. KGF 2 film’s production house Hombale films paid tribute to the actor.
Hombale films paid tribute to Mohan Juneja
Production house shared the photo of Mohan Juneja from the film with the text ‘We Miss You Mohan Juneja’. “Our heartfelt Condolences to actor Mohan Juneja’s family, friends & well-wishers. He was one of the best-known faces in Kannada films & our KGF family,” Hombale films tweeted.
Juneja appeared in over a hundred films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam as well as in Hindi. He made his debut with Kannada film Wall poster. He also appeared in several tv shows like Vatara which turned him into a household name in Karnataka. One of his most memorable performances was in the movie ‘Chellata’.
Several fans shared his photos and videos from his films and paid him tribute on social media. As per reports, his last rites will be performed on saturday evening in the presence of family and close friends in Bengaluru.
