Giuffre gained international attention after alleging that, as a teenager, she was trafficked by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. She also accused Britain’s Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, claims he denied but later settled out of court in 2022.

Beyond her legal battles, Giuffre was a dedicated activist. In 2015, she founded the nonprofit organization Victims Refuse Silence, later renamed Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR), to support survivors of sex trafficking.

In the weeks leading up to her death, Giuffre faced personal challenges, including a minor car accident and legal issues related to a restraining order involving her estranged husband. Despite these difficulties, her family remembered her as a “fierce warrior” and a devoted mother to her three children.

Authorities in Western Australia are investigating her death but have stated that it is not considered suspicious.
