Television and Marathi film actor Yogesh Mahajan, renowned for his role as Shukracharya in the TV series “Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav,” has passed away at the age of 44. He was discovered unconscious in his apartment in Umargaon after failing to report for a scheduled shoot. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead due to a sudden cardiac arrest.

Mahajan’s untimely demise has left his family, including his wife and seven-year-old son, in deep shock. His co-stars and colleagues have expressed their grief, remembering him as a jovial and dedicated individual.

Actress Akanksha Rawat, his co-star in “Shiv Shakti,” described him as a cheerful person, and the entire set is mourning his sudden departure.

In addition to his television work, Mahajan was known for his performances in Marathi films such as “Mumbaiche Shahane” and “Sansarchi Maya.” His last rites are scheduled for January 20, 2025, at the Gorari-2 crematorium near Pragati High School in Borivali West, Mumbai.
