Following the victory parade shooting, the Kansas City Chiefs, in collaboration with the United Way, have established the #KCStrong Fund.

This fund aims to aid shooting victims and their families while supporting violence prevention and response organizations, including mental health services and assistance for first responders.
Notably, Travis Kelce, matching Taylor Swift’s $100,000 donation, contributed through his charity, Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation, using a GoFundMe page initiated by friends of the Reyes family. The Reyes family’s two young daughters were injured in the incident, and the fundraising effort has already exceeded its $100,000 target.
Taylor Swift‘s donation was directed to the family of Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan, a victim of the shooting. Meanwhile, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes visited the Reyes family at Children’s Mercy Hospital, where their 8 and 10-year-old daughters are receiving care.
In a concerning development, authorities reported on Friday that two juveniles have been charged with crimes linked to the mass shooting.
