Plot Summary
The movie centers on Lila Kendy (Alana de Freitas), a high school teacher who moves to a new town to escape a troubled past, including a recent, abusive marriage. Seeking a fresh start, she begins teaching at a private Catholic school.
Lila soon encounters Jason Walker (Jared Scott), a troubled, handsome senior student from the “wrong side of the tracks” whose mother placed him in the private school to keep him away from bad influences. Though Jason is unenthusiastic about his studies, Lila sees potential in him and offers to tutor him after school.
Their intense after-hours meetings soon cross the line from academic assistance to a burgeoning, forbidden relationship. The emotional connection between Lila and Jason deepens, but their secret affair creates severe pressure. Lila struggles to balance her desires with the ethical and professional consequences of her actions, while Jason is pulled between his affection for Lila and the lure of his past criminal ties.
