The November Man Movie Summary

The film centers on Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan), a legendary, highly dangerous ex-CIA operative codenamed “The November Man.” Devereaux is living in quiet retirement in Switzerland when he is coaxed back into the field by his former boss, John Hanley, for a seemingly straightforward extraction mission.

The mission involves extracting Natalia Ulanova, an aide to the Russian President-elect, who holds critical intelligence on the former general’s war crimes. However, the operation goes wrong when Ulanova is assassinated by an operative from a separate CIA team—Devereaux’s own former protégé, David Mason (Luke Bracey).

The mission quickly spirals into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse as Devereaux goes rogue, determined to uncover the conspiracy behind Ulanova’s death and protect Alice Fournier (Olga Kurylenko), a refugee case worker who holds the key to the decades-old conspiracy. Devereaux finds himself pitted directly against Mason, a highly trained but impulsive operative, in a brutal battle where the line between mentor and student, and between friend and enemy, is blurred within a corrupt CIA and Russian political landscape.
