On the morning of April 11, 2025, a small aircraft tragically crashed shortly after takeoff from Boca Raton Airport in Florida, claiming the lives of all three people onboard.

The twin-engine Cessna 310R was en route to Tallahassee International Airport when the pilot reported issues with the aircraft’s rudder. Witnesses observed the plane circling the area before it went down near the intersection of North Military Trail and Butts Road around 10:20 a.m.

Authorities from the FAA and NTSB have launched a full investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the mechanical failure. Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer extended condolences to the families of the victims and assured the public that a thorough inquiry is underway.
