On March 29, 2025, a SOCATA TBM-700 aircraft en route from Des Moines International Airport to Anoka County–Blaine Airport crashed into a residential home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, at approximately 12:20 p.m.

Tragically, all occupants aboard the plane perished; however, the residents of the home were not present at the time, resulting in no injuries on the ground.
The crash ignited a significant fire that engulfed the house, leading to its destruction.
