Born Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr. on June 26, 1970, in Queens, New York, Gotti co-founded Murder Inc. Records in 1998. The label achieved notable success in the late 1990s and early 2000s, producing numerous chart-topping hits.
In early 2024, Gotti suffered a minor stroke attributed to his battle with diabetes. Despite efforts to manage his health, reports indicate that he experienced another stroke leading to a brain bleed, which is believed to have caused his death. However, an official cause has not been confirmed.
