On January 8, 2025, coinciding with his 39th birthday, Kannada superstar Yash unveiled the teaser for his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

The 59-second teaser, titled “Toxic: Birthday Peek,” showcases Yash in a suave avatar, dressed in a white suit and fedora, making a dramatic entrance into a posh nightclub named ‘Paraiiso’. The teaser exudes a sultry and mysterious ambiance, highlighting Yash’s charismatic screen presence.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, known for Moothon and Liar’s Dice, Toxic marks Yash’s first cinematic venture since the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 released in 2022. Mohandas, who co-wrote the film with Yash, praised the actor’s “mysterious and meticulous” approach, stating that their collaboration transcends traditional storytelling boundaries.
