Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, known for his passion for racing, was involved in a high-speed car crash during a practice session at the Dubai Autodrome on January 8, 2025.

Driving a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car at approximately 180 km/h, he lost control, causing the vehicle to spin multiple times before colliding with the track’s safety barrier. Fortunately, Ajith emerged unscathed from the accident.
The practice session was in preparation for the upcoming Dubai 24 Hours race, scheduled from January 10 to 12, 2025. Ajith, leading the Ajith Kumar Racing Team, was gearing up for this endurance event alongside teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod.
Despite the crash, Ajith is expected to continue his participation in the race, demonstrating his commitment to the sport. His team has expressed relief at his safety and is focused on the forthcoming event.
