A fast-moving wildfire, known as the Sunset Fire, erupted in the Hollywood Hills on January 8, 2025, prompting immediate evacuation orders for residents in the area. The fire ignited near the 2300 block of Solar Drive in the Hollywood Hills, close to Runyon Canyon Park.
