Mathison shared the devastating news through an Instagram video, showing the charred remains of his residence. He expressed gratitude for the safety of his family and appreciation for the support they’ve received.

In an interview with “Good Morning America,” Mathison mentioned that he and his family are safe but have lost nearly all their possessions. He stated, “I’ve lost my home and everything that I own. I have this hoodie and a pair of pants and two pairs of sneakers left. That’s it.”

The Palisades Fire has consumed approximately 3,000 acres, with multiple active fires in the Los Angeles area leading to significant property damage and fatalities. Mathison‘s experience is, unfortunately, shared by many residents facing similar losses due to these wildfires.

Despite this personal tragedy, Mathison continues his professional endeavors.
