In February, during her eighth month of pregnancy, Gadot endured severe headaches that confined her to bed for weeks. An MRI eventually revealed a massive blood clot in her brain, leading to an emergency surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

During this critical procedure, her daughter Ori was born. The name Ori, meaning “my light” in Hebrew, was chosen to symbolize the hope and resilience Gadot felt during this challenging time.

Gadot shared her experience on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of listening to one’s body and being aware of potential health issues. She highlighted that cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT), the condition she faced, is rare but can occur, particularly among pregnant women over 30. Gadot expressed gratitude for the medical team that aided her recovery and aims to empower others to prioritize their health.

Now fully recovered, Gal Gadot continues to focus on her family and career, using her platform to raise awareness about health issues and the importance of early detection. She hopes that sharing her story will encourage others to take proactive steps in managing their health.
