After more than eight years of legal proceedings, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finalized their divorce settlement. The agreement, signed on December 30, 2024, addresses their marital and property rights, with both parties waiving future spousal support. A judge’s approval is pending to finalize the settlement.

Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, were together for 12 years, including two years of marriage, and share six children.
The divorce proceedings were initiated by Jolie in 2016, following an incident on a private jet where she alleged Pitt was abusive—a claim he has denied, and for which no charges were filed after an FBI investigation.
The protracted legal battle encompassed disputes over child custody and the division of assets, notably their French estate, Château Miraval. While the divorce settlement resolves many issues, disagreements over the estate persist, with potential for further legal action.
