Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya has officially announced his engagement to ‘Made In Heaven’ star Sobhita Dhulipala. Chaitanya’s father, the renowned actor Nagarjuna, shared the joyous news on X, along with photos from the engagement ceremony.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who have been dating for some time, celebrated their engagement in an intimate gathering at Chaitanya’s Hyderabad home. The event was attended by close family and friends.

In his post, Nagarjuna referenced the date ‘8.8.8’ (August 8, 2024), highlighting the auspicious occasion of the Lionsgate portal.
He wrote, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love (sic).”
The couple is planning to marry later this year. Until now, neither Chaitanya nor Sobhita had publicly confirmed their relationship, though their social media posts hinted at their close bond through solo photos from their numerous holidays together.
Their relationship reportedly began in May 2022, when Chaitanya and Sobhita were first seen together in Hyderabad, where Sobhita was promoting her film ‘Major.’ After the promotions, she celebrated her birthday with Chaitanya and friends, marking the start of their deeper connection and eventual romance.

Previously, Naga Chaitanya was married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with the couple announcing their separation in October 2021.
