The Uber driver, upon hearing the Anti-India comments from passengers, decided to stop the vehicle and asked them to leave the cab.
A recent incident in Delhi involving an Uber driver ejecting two passengers from his cab has sparked widespread attention after a video of the altercation went viral. The incident occurred on the night of August 9 and involved a Pakistani man and his female companion, who were accused of making derogatory remarks about Indians, labeling them as “Matlabparast” (selfish).

The Uber driver, upon hearing the comments, initially requested the passengers to stop being disrespectful towards Indians. However, when they ignored his plea and continued with their remarks, the driver decided to stop the vehicle and asked them to leave the cab.
One of the passengers captured the entire exchange on video, which shows the driver expressing his frustration, saying, “You’re a Pakistani. Halala ki aulad ho tum log (You guys are the offspring of Halala).” The driver’s reaction was sparked by the passengers’ earlier comments, which he found deeply offensive.
Since being uploaded on August 11, the video has garnered over five lakh views on social media, prompting a flurry of reactions. While some viewers praised the driver for standing up for his country, others criticized his behavior, arguing that he should have handled the situation differently.
Here are a few comments from users:
- “It’s surprising to see people calling the passengers victims. What else can you do if someone abuses India in the national capital?”
- “Regardless of the situation, the driver should have stayed calm and focused on getting the passengers to their destination. He could have recorded the incident and reported it later.”
- “Salute to the cab driver for his loyalty to the country. He might lose his job, but he didn’t hesitate to act. Anyone who disrespects our country should be removed from the cab and the country. Jai Hind!”
- “Nation first, no compromise! Rashtraheet se bada koi karm nhi.. Rashtraheet se bada koi dharm nhi… Full support to him.”
- “It’s clear that the video only shows part of the incident. It’s likely there were more abusive remarks that led the driver to act as he did.”
