Wrestler John Cena will retire from WWE in 2025. Sporting a t-shirt with the phrase “The Last Time is Now” and his signature denim shorts, Cena expressed gratitude to WWE fans.
John Cena, the celebrated US actor and wrestler, has declared his retirement from participating in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) events.
This unexpected announcement was made to fans during his appearance at the WWE Money in the Bank event in Canada.

At 47, Cena, who transitioned to acting 18 years ago, revealed that his final wrestling match will be part of a farewell tour in 2025.
Widely considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Cena has achieved the world champion title 16 times since he joined WWE in 2001.
“Tonight, I officially announce my retirement from WWE,” Cena told the Toronto audience, who responded with surprise and later chanted “thank you, Cena.”
“What an incredible gesture of kindness,” he responded.
Sporting a t-shirt with the phrase “The Last Time is Now” and his signature denim shorts, Cena expressed gratitude to WWE fans for “letting me play in the house that you built for so many years.”

During a subsequent press conference, Cena stated his intention to stay connected with the WWE family in some capacity, despite feeling physically “at my end.”
John Cena‘s acting career began in 2006 with his role in The Marine, followed by appearances in high-profile films such as The Suicide Squad, Fast & Furious 9, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Since his acting career took off in 2018, Cena has performed in WWE on a part-time basis.
He also made headlines this year with a memorable appearance at the Academy Awards, where he appeared naked, save for a strategically placed envelope.
Moreover, Cena is the most requested celebrity by children involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He holds a Guinness World Record for the number of wishes granted to children with critical illnesses.
