Vaibhav Gupta, a native of Kanpur, clinched victory in the 14th season of Indian Idol, showcasing remarkable singing prowess that impressed judges and garnered praise from celebrity guests. Gupta’s triumph earned him a trophy, Rs 25 lakh, and a car.

Runners-up Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury and Piyush Panwar received trophies and Rs 5 lakh each, while 3rd runner-up Ananya Pal was awarded Rs 3 lakh.
The grand finale, broadcasted on March 3, presented playback singing opportunities to the finalists. Gupta expressed gratitude for the audience’s unwavering support and described the journey as an exhilarating rollercoaster filled with diverse emotions and unforgettable moments.
Gupta revealed plans to use the prize money to establish his dream studio for creating personalized music and to produce music videos. Judges Kumar Sanu, Shreya Ghoshal, and Vishal Dadlani, mentors to the contestants, conveyed pride and happiness, wishing Gupta success in his future endeavors.
Shreya Ghoshal highlighted Gupta’s versatility, commending his consistent and inspiring journey throughout the competition. Kumar Sanu acknowledged Gupta’s immense potential since the audition.
