Additionally, another non-Vault track from the album, “Style (Taylor’s Version),” also gained significant popularity, debuting with 11.6 million streams on the global chart.

“1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is a reimagining of her 2014 album, reflecting a pivotal point in her career when she transitioned from her Nashville country roots to a full-fledged pop superstar. This re-release includes five unreleased “vault” tracks, offering fans more insight into the artist Taylor Swift was during that time.

It’s worth noting that Taylor Swift‘s “Taylor’s Version” project aims to go beyond conventional re-recordings, providing new music, Easter eggs, and visuals that enhance the understanding of her work. This project, the fourth of six re-releases, is part of Swift’s effort to regain control over her early catalogue, following music manager Scooter Braun’s purchase and sale of her original songs.
