The email’s sinister content was unveiled, pronouncing, “Surrender 20 crore rupees, or face the deadly consequences, as our marksmen are unparalleled within India’s borders.”
This isn’t the first time the Ambani family has grappled with such sinister threats. Just a year ago, a hospital affiliated with the Reliance Foundation was targeted with menacing calls that vowed harm to Mukesh Ambani and his loved ones.
A suspect, Rakesh Kumar Mishra, aged 30 and hailing from Darbhanga, Bihar, was apprehended by the Mumbai Police. Mishra stood accused of terrorizing Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital by threatening to detonate the facility and extinguish the lives of Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita, and their sons, Akash and Anant.
In a chilling escalation, the threats extended to Antilia, the opulent residence of the Ambani family nestled in the heart of South Mumbai.
