As per reports, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have been in a steady relationship for five years now. However, they kept their relationship private. They met each other for the first time on the sets of Mister in 2016. During this film, they became a close friends and afterwards their friendship turned into love.
Then, they were seen together in many award shows, functions and ceremonies. Lavanya also attended the marriage ceremony of Varun Tej’s sister Niharika Konidela in 2020.

A few days ago of engagement, Varun Tej shared the poster of his upcoming Telugu film Gandeevadhari Arjuna. In the poster, he is sitting calmly by wearing a black suit and a gun can also be seen in his hand. Bombs are blasted behind him in the poster. The movie will release in theatres on August 25.
