Malayalam actor and anchor Subi Suresh passed away in a private hospital in Kochi. Her sudden demise sent shockwaves in the entire entertainment industry.

Malayalam actor and TV show host Subi Suresh has died on Wednesday, February 22. She was suffering from liver related ailments and took her last breathe in a private hospital in Kochi. She was just 41.

Her sudden demise sent shockwaves in the entire entertainment industry. Many celebrities condoled the untimely demise of Subi Suresh.

She started her career as a mimicry artist and became famous when she entered the popular comedy show ‘Cinemala’. Then, she started receiving offers in Malayalam movies.

Subi Suresh acted in many Malayalam movies

She played comic roles in ‘Happy Husbands’, ‘Kankanasimhasanam’ and among others. She gained more popularity with the kids’ show ‘Kutty Pattalam’.

After that show, Subi Suresh worked in ‘Kutty Kalavara’, a special cookery show. In 2018, she made a comeback to Malayalam TV with the show ‘Labour Room’.

In 2021, Subi gained laurels for her befitting reply to a netizen who made sleazy comments about her dressing style.

“I am fed up with such moral policing, Uncles. Thinking he was trying to be famous,” she shared the post with her signature humour,” her hilarious reply gained much praise then.

Subi is survived by father Suresh, mother Ambika and brother Aby Suresh.
